I referred my son for S&L therapy during the pandemic. Understandably it took a while for him to be seen given that the waiting list was so lengthy. We met virtually in the first instance with the s&l therapist Leigh from Condorrat Health Centre, Cumbernauld at the end of last year. She really was so patient with my son and tried to help him as much as she could virtually, however our internet connection was never great and Leigh made the decision to see my son in person to ensure he really got the support he required. I must say, I'm over the moon with the progress my boy has made and I need to point out that it actually didn't take very long to see the progress either. He really enjoyed going to see Leigh, she made it really fun and interactive for him and so he was kept engaged through-out the process. Leigh really helped me to stop worrying so much about his speech too!
His case is now closed as he has made massive improvement in such a short space of time.
I would highly recommend Leigh and am so thankful to her for helping us!
