Our son and family had flown over from the Netherlands. We hadn't seen them for over 2 years. We were due to fly out to see them in May, but surgery changed all that.
Patient visits on Rowan Ward are limited but the staff....a special mention to Diana or Diane who made it possible for us all to get together.
The little ones soon became relaxed - it was much harder for the adults. The girls enjoyed pushing the wheelchair along Hospital Street and briefly outside.
A big thank you to ALL the staff.
I hope it will be the turn of our 2 grandsons next,
