"Reassuring hospital stay"

About: Borders General Hospital / Acute Assessment Unit Borders General Hospital / Stroke Unit

(as a service user),

I would like to say thank you to the kind and tolerant staff on Ward 6 and 14 and the friendship of my fellow patients. It was a real eye opener to witness the pressure ward staff are under behind the scenes and how there are frequent emergencies outside the ward that they are called to rush off to. I must also add a special thank you to the catering staff. The food was delicious and to receive food in a package marked Gluten free was so re-assuring.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Staff are working extremely hard to ensure standards of care remain high during this difficult period. I will share your kind feedback with the team in MAU / Ward 6. They will very much appreciate it.

kind regards
