"My visit to day surgery"

So yesterday i was in Crosshouse for my first surgical procedure in a while….i was so nervous but had absolutely no reason to be….from the minute i stepped through the door, right through to leaving, everyone was incredible and went out their way to look after me! All the wee things like the friendly chats and people popping their head in to check i was ok are really the big things and i’m so thankful to have had that! I work in the hospital so some may think i’m biased but i’m not from a clinical background at all….i don’t get to see alot of these things on the daily but what i did get to see yesterday was nothing short of outstanding! Smashed it NHS Ayrshire and Arran…you all should be so proud 💙
