"My fathers biopsy experience at Stirling"

Today  I took my father to the dermatology department at Stirling hospital to get a couple of planned biopsies. Upon further investigation, it was determined that one of the original biopsies would be deferred due to a more pressing finding on his upper arm. The team (Dr. Brown, Dr. Shereen and the 2 nurses, Kirsty and Jo) were exceptional in the way they calmly and professionally dealt with the change of scenario, thinking and acting on their feet to make my father comfortable and at ease throughout the procedures involved. My father and I would like to thank you for the care, attention and indeed the great humour that they shared with us. The overall service was exceptional.

Thank you for leaving such lovely feedback, I have shared this with the team.

I am pleased to hear that we were able to put your Dad, and you at ease. It is a hazard of the job that clinical situations can change at short notice and that is no problem for us, we need to prioritise what is the best for your Dad.

I hope his wounds are healing well.

Thanks again.

Kirsty
