"My husband passed away from cancer after battling with it for just two weeks. He passed in December aged 36, and I was 6 months pregnant with our second child. As I was preparing for birth I was full of all emotions, apprehensive about how things would go but also grieving at the same time. Still in shock but still grieving I entered the labour ward in March. They broke my waters early morning. The student nurse named : Janet who came on the dayshift was amazing. Her mentor was also outstanding.
All I remember was Janet’s voice guiding me through labour, willing me on. After baby came I unfortunately began haemorrhaging and it was Janet who raised the alarm.
Janet was confident and so so capable in her skills that I know she will be a fantastic midwife very soon.
thanks again Janet x
