"Amazing treatment"

About: West Mendip Community Hospital

On 2nd March I reported at the minor injuries unit with chest pains. I was seen without delay. The nurse was very efficient and after a series of tests, she suggested she called an ambulance to take me to A&E at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. Whilst there I was told that the nurse had probably saved my life. After a series of tests at Musgrove Park, I was transferred to The Bristol Heart Institute where I had a coronary artery bypass procedure. I have subsequently made a complete recovery.
