"I've had zero contact"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham / Neurology

(as a service user),

I've been waiting for a neurology appointment with chronic pain and fatigue (amongst other symptoms) for just under a year now with no sign of an appointment. Almost 6 months since my GP asked them to treat my referral as urgent. I've had absolutely zero contact with them. PALS also have not responded when contacted.

Dear Brumpatient123,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and apologies for the delayed response. We are really sorry to hear that your experience with our Neurology Department has not been a positive one and you haven't been able to get the appointment you were expecting.

If you still haven't received an appointment please call the Booking Centre on 0121 371 7070 or Email: MyAppointments@uhb.nhs.uk and hopefully the team there can assist you or signpost you to someone who can.

Please do try contacting PALS again as they are there to help with any outstanding concerns - they can be contacted by phone 0121 424 0808, by email PALS@uhb.nhs.uk or by contact form at https://www.uhb.nhs.uk/forms/contact-complaint-concern

Best wishes

James Cunningham

Assistant Patient Experience Manager at UHB
