"Very very long waiting times poor service"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I have ongoing medical issues and called NHS 24 waited 32 mins on phone gave my details told I was triaged to out of hours doctors .I have waited 6 hours and have not been contacted by out of hours .I called the hospital to be told I have to wait as my condition deteriorates which will means I am in lots of pain .I asked to speak to a and e as I do not want to arrive if there is an emergency, but have been told to wait .Do I wait until I need to call 999 to put pressure on a service ? i feel this is a lack of communication with the public which will lead to me having to call 999.
