About: Southern Health & Social Care Trust / COVID vaccination programme

(as a parent/guardian),

We would like to thank the lovely nurses, Mary and Fiona, who were running the 5-11 clinic in The Quays today. A particular thanks also to the admin team who were very understanding of a nervous 11 yr old receiving his second dose. The care and compassion of the nurses was amazing and they were skilful at distracting an anxious boy whilst delivering a pain free jab at the same time. Thank you for your care and time today - as always, above and beyond care from start to finish.

Dear tipsywilderness - thank you so much for sharing this feedback with us. I have shared your comments with the vaccination team. Positive feedback like this is always so encouraging for our staff. We do appreciate that getting the vaccination can be a time of anxiety for children and their parent so it is lovely to read how the skills, care and compassion shown by the vaccination team really helped
