"Postpastrum-loneliness"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as the patient),

Postpartum... I didnt know what to do. Until one of the midwifes actually listened and suggested me to go for councilling. I met my councillor that was my savour. I was so down with so many problems in me that i thought there is no way out.

Today is the day I told my councillor that I no longer need her. Im able to figure things out myself. Im okay. Im finally okay. After months of struggle I can say I Am ok. This has been the best decision so far.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Inclusion Thurrock, I am sorry to hear that you were going through a tough time postpartum. It is very common for women to feel low after giving birth, so well done for having the courage to reach out for help.

I can see from your message, that you are regaining a positive outlook after months of struggling which is great. I hope that your story encourages other mums who are feeling a similar way to reach out for help too.

I wish you all the best,

Ellie O’Shea
