"Care in ED for child with broken collarbone"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My little boy had to come to ED today due to a football accident. Turns out he has broken his collarbone.

Craig the Advanced Practitioner was absolutely fantastic. My kid has been telling everyone his fun facts since coming home. His manner, his professionalism and his enthusiasm for his job are truly remarkable. In a world where ED have been hammered of late, let it be shared that everyone we spoke today was smiling, happy and helpful. My little boy wants to say thank you!

Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to share your lovely feedback, which the ED team, and particularly Craig will be delighted to receive. It will be reassuring for Craig to know that his efforts to put your little boy at ease after his accident have been so well rewarded.

Please tell your little boy that we very much appreciate him saying thank you and we hope that his injury is healing well.

With best wishes,

Linda
