"My time in Rampton Hospital"

About: Rampton Hospital / Personality Disorder Pathway

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Rampton Hospital via Medium Security in the summer of 2015.

I stayed there tell July 2018 - around 3 years.

I was on the PD pathway on the peaks and I thought I would never get discharged from Rampton.

It's now Spring 2022 and I have been told I should be released this summer from a LSU regional secure unit.

It took me going to Rampton to be where I am now.  If I hadn't have gone Rampton I would have took my life.

I want people to know there is hope from Rampton Hospital.

Stay positive stay focused.

I would like to wish you all the best when you move on from LSU

I am glad you have taken the time to share your message, and really hope it supports patients currently at Rampton Hospital who are experiencing feelings as you have described, about being discharge and moving on.

Thanks Again

Amanda
