"The care and compassion of staff"

My brother had unfortunately suffered an internal bleed, having gone through A&E we then had a three week period of stay within MHDU, Carol and her team were outstanding, they were extremely busy but we would never have known, the team took time to ensure my brother had the best care, encouraging him to eat and helping him move when he was unable to. They took time to ensure we not only knew but understood what was happening with his care and health but also to ensure our well being which i found was beyond any expectations we had. My brother unfortunately had three other internal bleeds whilst in their care and at no point did we feel excluded in his care. They were outstanding with their care and compassion, they made us feel calm, and he felt as if he was one of their own, treating him like they would one of their own family members
