About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

I have been going to Opthalmology for years and had both cataracts done there last year as well as ongoing treatment since.

The staff are absolutely amazing, professional and caring.

I am so grateful for all the treatment I have received from them, especially during this difficult covid period when I felt safe in their hands.

I include the Jubilee Ward in this review, thank you to all.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such lovely feedback about your experience of care in our Ophthalmology service, including the Jubilee Eye Suite; we very much appreciate it.

The Trust has continually strived to provide a high standard of care in what has, and continues to be, extremely busy and challenging times, and so we are delighted to read this has regularly been your experience. It is also very important to us that patients are treated not only appropriately and professionally but with kindness, compassion, dignity and respect to meet our core values, and we are particularly pleased to read you felt safe in the hands of staff during the peak of COVID.
