(as a service user),

I attended the haematology day unit today for a bone marrow aspiration and biopsy.

I was very nervous about having the procedure, however the care I received from Gillian the Haematology Nurse Specialist and Elaine the clinical therapist was outstanding. They were so kind and reassured me throughout the procedure.

Gillian performed the procedure and made it as painless as possible. I cannot thank them for both enough for the care they gave me.
