About: Borders General Hospital / Accident & Emergency Borders General Hospital / Paediatrics (Ward 15)

(as a parent/guardian),

Following a sporting injury at school my son attended the Emergency Department at Borders General Hospital in mid March.

He was attended to in a timely manner by caring and attentive staff including Nursing staff, E.D  and orthopaedic doctors and a Radiographer who all explained clearly to him what was happening at every stage. Such professionalism from all staff involved - thank you 

He was to attend ward 15 the following day for planned surgery and again we experienced the same professionalism and care. We were made to feel at ease and welcome on arrival to the ward by the nursing staff, nothing was too much trouble.

We want to thank the anaesthetic doctor and her team, the surgeons and theatre staff for a successful outcome and making the last 48 hours as smooth as possible.

You are all amazing and a credit to NHS Borders
