"I'm at my wits end"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Urology (Ward 6)

(as a service user),

I’ve had a long term indwelling catheter for now a year and a half, in that time I’ve only had a cystoscopy done to investigate the problem. I had it put in August 2020 after I took an overdose and couldn’t pass urine, I’ve had several trials without and failed them. I’ve tried to contact urology for months with not even a letter back. I was supposed to be getting a dye test done & that hasn’t happened. I called today and was told I’ve now been discharged back to my Gp with no follow up. I’m 26 years old and living with a catheter, it’s been the worst 18 months of my life. I have constant UTI’s & in constant pain, I’m so sick of being fobbed off. I understand due to covid 19 a lot of things were put on hold but I can’t bare this any longer! I need someone to help, I’m at my wits end. I also was told my consultant has now left.
