About: North Devon District Hospital / Colorectal surgery & stoma care

(as the patient),

I had surgery in early December last year and quite frankly was very apprehensive, especially as it was to be done in a rather sensitive area.

I have nothing but praise for my Consultant, Mr Bain and the staff at North Devon District Hospital, they put me at ease straight away and were very caring in their approach before and after my surgery. Mr Bain explained everything in detail before surgery and how to look after myself to enable the best result after surgery. Nearly 3 months on, my problem has gone away and I'm feeling in the best of health.
