About: Cardiology / Cardiology Assessment Hub

(as a service user),

Visited the Cardiac hub on Tuesday.  Received the appointment straight away after phoning my GP Dr Casey the previous day.

I think the cardiac nurse was called Michelle ( very efficient) she was also joined by a new college.

They did ECG, blood pressure, bloods ( everything from cholesterol to thyroid. I was sent for chest x-ray (Michelle took me out to the corridor + directed me to x-ray dept). Was took straight away ( no waiting ) Returned to cardiac hub to receive my blood results, X-ray results, + nurse had spoke to specialist doctor to find out what course of action was to be taken!

-Full MOT given and left the hospital a few hours later.

First Class Service from all staff + departments especially Michelle ( who also gave me a number to phone if necessary.

May I firstly apologise for the delay in response. This was due to some technical difficulties. I am so glad you felt the service you received was first class. My colleague Pamela and I are delighted that you felt you received a full MOT and a plan was organized for you. We all work very hard in the cardiology hub to achieve all this for our patients.

I will also share your positive feedback with our colleagues in the radiology department. I know how confusing the hospital site can be and I am glad the directions I gave were sufficient and that you were seen promptly.
