"If this was a Tripadvisor report it would achieve a 5 star plus!"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

(as the patient),

I attended NDDH for a biopsy of the tongue. From the point of reception through to treatment was excellent. Prior to surgery the procedure was fully explained by Doctor Watts. Two nurses in attendance Jenny and ……gulp I forgot her name, but a had an extra quality of being a strong but gentle gripper of tongues!

Excellent medical procedure and all were caring, attentive and utterly professional. Post treatment was explained by Jenny and the literature helpful.

I’m sure this had been said many times but this was the NHS at its best, from referral by the dentist, to meeting the consultant Mr Esson and days later a biopsy. Quick and a professional service……..thank you.

If this was a Tripadvisor report it would achieve a 5 star plus!

Oh the booking staff were also great in facilitating the appointments.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us your story. I'm glad that you felt well cared for by our team and that you found our post op advice useful.

I will pass on your kind comments to Doctor Watts and Sammy, as well as the receptionist, clinical management booking team and booked admissions.

Once again, many thanks for your feedback.
