"Not happy at all"

About: Southmead Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a service user),

Not happy at all, my daughter went in to see her nan, when she arrived the bed was empty, she then asked where is my Nan, she then got told oh you need to go into a room the doctor wants to speak to you, which she did, then she got told she had passed away, plus they knew she was going into see Nan, as you had to book an appointment, this should of not happen at all, very disrespectful.

When I asked why we wasn’t contacted, they said the doctor was finishing the paperwork off, I am so unhappy about this due to not being allowed in only one which I understand, but to not seeing your mum for three weeks was killing me, you put trust in the people looking after your mum, and what for  to be  let down, by them, I will never ever forgive them and I hope they can sleep well at night,

And when you ring the ward you can never get through to them.
