"I have had two operations recently."

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I have had two operations in Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline recently. The first was for a Hernia repair, the second for repair of a trapped nerve in my right elbow which affected the use of my right hand.

Both operations were carried out by Specialists in their particular fields of surgery. Mr Eugenikos did the Hernia in December 2021 and Ms McEachan operated on the nerve in February 2022.  Both operations required a full anesthetic. I can only say thank you to both teams which carried out the tasks with great care and efficiency. The Staff Nurse who arranged my departure from the hospital, Mr Devine on both occasions I wish to thank too with all his team.

Hi, Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience. The staff involved will be delighted to learn that you were happy with the treatments and care you received. I wish you a good recovery and will ensure the teams at QMH and specifically Mr Evgenikos, Ms McEachan and Staff Nurse Devine are sighted off your post.

Regards Arlene
