On the 4/4 /2013 I took my Mum to the outpatients department for a follow up eye examination as a problem was discovered by our own optician following my Mums cataract operation. The staff right throughout the department were excellent, from the volunteer who helped us check in, the reception staff who were friendly and efficient, the nurses who dealt with my Mum, who is 83 and also suffering with lung cancer, were patient and understanding, and also the doctor who carried out the examination was very thorough and explained everything to us.
Nobody likes having to visit the hospital, but the staff made it as stress free as possible.
