(as a service user),

I am having appointments with Sarah to help me with changing my drinking. 

Sarah is amazing. I love how she gets me. For example, when I went completely abstinent , she understood all the side affects I was explaining to her and how I can get through them. She makes me feel ok when I have had a lapse, she understands and we work on it which really helps. She's learnt me box breathing that is amazing for me.

Every single one of you have made me turn my life around and still are as I know there is still a long way to go. Thankyou for the support, I feel very lucky :)

Hi.

Thank you for sharing with us. It's great to know you have developed a positive therapeutic relationship with Sarah and you are learning new skills. Doing this gives us more confidence to try new things, shows us there are other ways to challenge our problems with a positive outcome. As for "still a long way to go" the important part is the start you have made and to continue on that journey. Well done you.
