About: Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre(Nations Healthcare) / Heart and lung function testing Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Urology Specialist Therapy Services / Rushcliffe CHD Clinic

(as the patient),

I had a 3 month wait for my apointment for an events recorder at the local health center The nurse that delt with me was very efficient and explained what I had to do and why. She had obviously read my notes and knew what my problems were. All in all it was a short but effective visit.

My problems started 16 months ago and my GP has been co coordinating the investigations to try to find out what the problem is so that be treated.

Insistently I have been found to have cancer for which I am awaiting a surgery date. Considering the covid pandemic I feel the treatment I have received has been excellent and the communication between all the different specialist has been impressive.

I consider myself lucky as the cancer is asymptomatic and would have been a lot less treatable if it had not been found, every cloud has a silver lining!
