"Being in hospital and receiving treatments"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Cancer Services North Devon District Hospital / Intensive & Critical Care Unit

(as the patient),

Early December 2021 I was taken in to A&E with what I thought was a stomach bug, I woke up in ICU and was diagnosed with leukemia, after a week or so in ICU I got transferred from Barnstaple to Exeter ( yarty ward) where I spent another week and started chemotherapy then came back to Barnstaple where I spent another 4 weeks on the ward capner I final got discharged mid January, I'm now still having chemotherapy in Seymour ward at Barnstaple, which I'm about to have my 3rd dose. The overall service has been good.
