(as the patient),

I recently spent 8 days as an inpatient after presenting at ED with Chest Pain.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all staff at both sites for looking after me so professionally and compassionately during what was an extremely uncertain and anxious time. The staff at Wishaw deserve particular praise, coping with staff shortages due to Covid and some extremely challenging patients. The staff at the Cath Lab at Hairmyers were superb - I felt safe and at ease as soon as soon as I was transferred across, I just knew I was in the best possible hands. Rehab is going well and I'm on my way to reducing many of those risk factors that brought me to your attention in the first place.
