"X Ray (West) - A Happy Experience"

Just want to say that the care and treatment I received in X Ray (West) this afternoon, 10 February 2022, was 5*. From the receptionist to the radiographers, all the staff were polite, cheerful and friendly.

Nobody enjoys having a canula fitted, including me, but today it was completely painless. The nurse was clearly really good at fitting them.

While I was waiting to be called through for my appointment I saw elderly patients being treated with consideration and respect too. That was reassuring to see.

During my appointment the radiographers explained at length what was going to happen in the CT scanner, which was helpful and allowed me to relax. I understand I am not allowed to give names, but the radiographers couldn't have been more helpful.

I was surprised to read so much negativity about Derriford before writing my review, as whenever I have had cause to attend Derriford, the staff have been amazing, just as they were today too.
