My wife was rushed to hospital early Saturday morning. I drove to Accident and Emergency waited for sometime and was told that I could not stay there and would not give me any information about my wife. I drove home and spent the rest of the day trying to contact someone as to where my wife is and how is she getting on. The numbers I dialed again and again and again all time out it is an absolute disgrace. I sat indoors because I was not allowed to visit not knowing if my wife was dead or alive. On Sunday I rang the same numbers and again did not get anywhere. I rang constantly all morning and got nowhere so I just sat indoors with a splitting headache. It seems to me that because the NHS where held in high regard during Covid the care, the duty they give now, or don't give, is entirely up to the individual as they think they are superior to mere patients and family. I will take this further via an Ombudsman and please keep this review posted as I am interested in what others think. I have discussed this aggressive culture the NHS has taken on and they agree wholeheartedly with my view.
"An absolute disgrace."
