"Coming out of hospital"

About: Intellectual Developmental Disabilities /Learning Disability Services - Community / Intensive Community Assessment & Treatment Team - ICATT (North & South)

(as a service user),

My mental health was not good and I was in hospital. Adam from the ICATT south team came to see. I didn’t know I was unwell, shouting at a lot of people, and not sleeping very well.

The ICATT team helped to get home. Adam made me a keeping well DVD that helped me to keep calm. I have worked with Ruth, Richard, Emma, Sara Steph, Tony, Vicky, Bindi and Duncan, on the phone mostly. Emma came out to see me on the day of my Dad's funeral. She met me at Highfields to have a walk around the lake.   It helped me a lot. Ruth has been very good with me since my Dad died. I don’t think that they could do any better - they have been there for me. Thank you very much

Dear Cooper man

Thank you very much for your review. I'm really pleased that ICATT south have been able to support you through a difficult time and have been there for you. I hope that the keeping well video continues to be helpful for you and that you continue to keep yourself busy. I will pass on your comments to all of the team. Best Wishes. Richard Bryant
