"Waiting list "

About: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust

I have been on the waiting list twice and the most recent referral I was told the longest I should be waiting including completion of treatment is 24 weeks. It has now been over 26 weeks and I haven’t even received an appointment never mind received any treatment. I have been suffering with daily living for over 3 years and an mri finally brought a lot of light to my symptoms, unfortunately I had no other information as how to deal with my situation. I have called on numerous occasions to be told I am still on a waiting list, how long are we to wait?

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Unforuntately, our waiting times are longer than expected due to the backlog of referrrals as the pandemic continues. We understand this must be very difficult and frustrating to our patients but our divisional operation teams are working to ensure that all patients will be reviewed.

If you contact the Patient Experience Team at patientexperienceteam@thewaltoncentre.nhs.uk who will be happy to help you further and liaise with the divisional management teams on your behalf.

Kind regards

The Patient Experience Team
