Anything else?
I was recently admitted to Lincoln County Hospital, during the early hours of Wednesday 27th February, as an emergency, due to difficulties with breathing. I was a patient on Navenby ward for just over a week until being discharged on Thursday 7th March 2013.
From the moment the paramedics arrived and during our time in Accident and Emergency, I was treated with kindness, concern and caring of a high level even though it was the end of a very busy night shift. I was amazed that staff were even concerned about my wife too and offered me her much needed 'cuppa'.
I was treated with the same kindness and cheerfulness on Navenby ward and the highly skilled professionals worked hard to ensure the best possible level of recovery. Staff at all levels were supportive, kind and extremely helpful which made such a difficult and frightening situation much better than one could have expected.
"Breathless emergency"
