"Wonderful Care and consideration"

My brother has been in the unit at Hollyfields for almost two years, and in all of that time, there is not one thing of the care and support I would wish to change, or challenge, in fact it just goes on getting better if that's possible, because it is already first class.

Despite some difficulties at times with Keith's behaviour, the staff have never failed to treat him with the utmost respect, and have done all in their power to improve and ease his challenges.

In addition to this, staff keep family updated of any changes, good or bad, and however small, and when visiting, you feel truly valued.

This makes family still feel very much an important part of my brother's life, and eases the fact that he cannot be in his own home where the challenges were too great.

My brother is encouraged and allowed to take part in all of the everyday routines of the unit.

As a vegetarian his diet is honoured.

His appearance and cleanliness are exemplary, as is the unit.

When visiting, it is a pleasure, and never a challenge. Something you look forward to, rather than dread.

I would wish my thanks and admiration to be made known to the staff who have provided excellent support and care in all circumstances.
