My time on this ward (Orthopaedic ward) so far has been great. I have been kept well cared for by all members of staff but especially by the health care assistants. I was talking to one of the HCA and she had told me that she had only started this job, but I have to say she is brilliant at this job, as she is very patient and does everything for me. Anytime I need to be taken to the toilet she is right there to help me so I am never sitting waiting on someone to come. She is also very funny and chatty which I like, as at the moment, unfortunately I cannot see my wife due to the restrictions, but the HCA lifts up my spirits and keeps me positive. Hopefully soon we will be allowed to see our loved ones in person.
