"Staff going beyond the call of duty"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department Daisy Hill Hospital / Male Medical

(as the patient),

Following chest pain, I came to A&E. The staff were all great. There was nothing bad about the staff - they really go beyond the call of duty in current conditions.

I had to wait a couple of days before getting a bed. However, once I got a bed I couldn't have been treated better on the Male Medical Ward. The nurses and  doctors have been great and got me sorted.

Nurse Bernice has been excellent and all the doctors who saw me yesterday have been ever so helpful. All the nurses have been amazing and anything I needed they sorted for me. Anna who was on at night was also brilliant.

I have no improvements to suggest regarding my care. However, Essentially more beds are needed as well as a new hospital.

Many thanks for your kind words about the staff in male medical and for mentioning Bernice.

I will be sure to feed this back to the staff.

Regards
