I have been on the Male Medical Ward a while now. As with every hospital stay it has been very monotonous, long and boring. However, the staff have all been excellent - there hasn't been one who I couldn't say was not good - so far!
The ward itself has been clean and comfortable.
The only thing I think needs improving is that there needs to be somewhere to exercise. I just feel that there needs to be somewhere to go to allow you to stretch your legs other than just to the toilet and back again.
Another area for improvement would be the food. Some of the food has been quite bad. Today's (Sunday) has been good. However, Saturday's chicken in breadcrumbs was like eating rubber. There is also no variety, no salads and not much choice for those on a fluid balanced diet. There is also no variety in fruit - melon, strawberries etc.
I also feel that there has been a lack of fresh air - open windows would be nice.
