I was sceptical regarding transferring my elderly mother to this practice, a few years ago because of the Google reviews. My mum is housebound, blind, has partial hearing, with several health issues and unfortunately does not take her prescribed medication and does not take well to home visits.
My very first impression, years ago, was at the reception desk. The receptionist obtained all of my Mother's details and listened to my concerns. Very helpful. My Mother's main GP is a recently qualified Doctor. She is an amazing GP, helpful, knowledgeable, practical, listens to my concerns, excellent communication and generally, it's been a good few years with The Lower Clapton practice and I have only positive things to write about the service. The Ask my GP, online service works for me. No complaints there. The GP's that call me, when my Mother's usual Doctor is not working on the day, are also brilliant. Again they listen and act appropriately. They support my mum where needed and that's all I can ask for. They don't cut corners and they don't make you feel that their financial yearly budget, is more important than their patients. Most important, they listen and are empathetic and not argumentative.
I am very impressed with this Practice and I think they should be recognised within the Borough for their hardwork and consistency.
It can only get better from here on.
