(as a service user),

The doctor who can do it by scan isn’t available. Staff were extremely helpful but I think it’s very hard for them when there's only one person who can do this procedure. I feel they should employ additional people as I’ve been waiting nearly 2 years for it to be removed. It’s not straightforward as the implant in my arm has moved and cannot be found by touch.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the service you have received. I am sorry that we have limited doctors who can offer a scan prior to removing an implant. We are in the process of recruiting an additional doctor with the aim of improving this situation for our patients in the future. Our doctor who currently performs the scans should be available later this month and I hope we can offer you an appointment in the near future. Thank you for your patience.
