"Thank you"

I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the staff within the hospital that cared for and operated on my son and provided his aftercare up to his discharge in December. The paramedics, the team at the fracture clinic, his consultant and other members of the orthopaedic team, the anaesthetists and recovery team, the physio staff and the wonderful nursing team on East bergholt ward. The care, support and explanation he and us as parents were given right from the start to the end of his journey was second to none, we could not have asked for more. Our son had a lengthy procedure to fix a broken tibula and fibula and we are so thankful and amazed at how quickly he has recovered. He is now only a few months later running again and has just started playing football again. I don't know how to put in to words what an amazing job you all do every day, especially with all of the additional challenges faced with covid etc. You all not only provided care but were all friendly , included my son in conversations about what was happening with a little bit of banter too along the way, tough chats when needed to motivate. It made a difficult and upsetting situation much more bearable for him that's for sure. We could not have asked for more at any stage, a massive thank you to all again , hopefully won't be back- no offence intended :)
