"18 hours on a chair 83 years of age!"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary

My grandmother age 83 attended yesterday afternoon 17th Jan 2022 at 3pm and was left in A and E for 18 hours due to no beds on wards there was no food offered or even in vending machines. She went in with pains in her chest and was too dizzy due to blood pressure to walk and her Gp called her an ambulance from home. She only got a bed on a ward on18th January at 9am on a ward. As a result she has now has severe back pain from a blue hard back chair as that was all she was offered she was freezing cold and no one even after asking numerous times brought her a blanket or food. Disgusting after all the years she has worked and paid her taxes and never uses the NHS.
