"You can still see their smiles"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 3 North Ward

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

When I first came in I felt very welcomed by all staff. The nurses explained everything very thoroughly to me so I knew what was going to happen. I am just trying to recover at the moment from COVID. I was very sick last week as I was suffering with headaches and mostly breathing difficulty.

Seeing how the staff work in these conditions amazes me as it would be very tough to work with full PPE on and also in a COVID ward which can be quite scary.

Even though the staff have full PPE on you can still see their smiles behind it all, they are all very kind and friendly on this ward (3 North) as they are always up for a chat which is very comforting to me.

Dear Aoiyf36 - thank you so much for telling us about your experience and I apologize for the delay in responding. I am sorry to read that you have been so unwell with COVID and I hope that by now you are feeling better. It is lovely to read your comments about the staff and especially how you can see their smiles through PPE. The staff will really appreciate these words of gratitude and encouragement

Wishing you well in your recovery
