It's been of tremendous help and source of confidence for me as a Mum to know I can in my own way support my children's Speech and Language needs. I have truly learnt a lot and as I apply them, I am seeing some promising results and even got a positive feedback from my kids school.

I am so grateful to David of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust & children's SLT for his dedication and patience. You were easy to talk to and I learnt a great deal from all our sessions, from me and my kids, thank you very much. A big thank you to the Small steps Big changes project for giving me and other Mums the opportunity and this platform to be trained for the course (Let's talk with Under -5s). It made a huge difference to me.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience of support from Nottingham children’s speech & language therapy service. We are so pleased you found the support you received so helpful and please be assured Dave has seen your lovely comments too!

You’re right that the SSBC project is reaching many families who previously haven’t had support, so please feel free to spread the word about how the project is able to help families of children with speech and language difficulties.
