I live in north Devon and started to feel slightly breathless when walking. My wife had a similar problem in late 2020 and had low iron level so I had it checked out.
This lead to me having a iron infusion followed quickly by a gastroscopy and colonoscopy requiring surgery which took place in January 2021 by keyhole surgery and consisted of a right hemicolectomy resection which went well. I have had regular contact my surgeon and his team and had a colonoscopy today which was clear no polyps or tissue removed.
I have had excellent care at the North Devon district hospital and have only the highest praise for all the staff concerned with my care. Thank you northern Devon health care.
I would also like to thank them for all my wife’s care. She was diagnosed with bowel cancer when she was 29 and has had 3 lots of surgery, the last one being in October 2020. She is 76 now and doing fine.
Thanks again to everyone who helped with her care and recovery. Take care keep safe and bless you all.
