"Feel overlooked at times"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / 3 South

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been in hospital for one week today. I collapsed at home and upon coming into hospital, they have discovered that I have a chest infection. I am comfortable and the ward is quite clean (apart from toilets). However, there are just a few things that are making the experience difficult. Firstly, my care plan is not clear. I am definitely ''left in the dark'' and just feel overlooked at times. It is always scary being in hospital, but this uncertainty isn't helping the situation. I just wish some doctors and nurses were more approachable at times but I understand that they are under pressure.
