My husband was sent to A&E by his GP, who wanted urgent tests for a possible mini stroke. He was triaged, had blood tests, CT scan, was assessed by a stroke nurse, had an ECG and then immediately after that was seen by a stroke doctor. All this within 3hrs, and pleasantly and efficiently done. In the end it was something different but we cannot fault the treatment he had, both in A&E and on the stroke ward overnight.
"Very good experience in A&E"
