I just want to thank the staff in Portadown health clinic. They were so accommodating when organising an appointment for contraception- within a few days from contact I received the contraception. The girls are so professional, welcoming and caring.
The highlight of my experience was the staff being available on a Saturday. I cannot express how essential, valuable and important it is for people like me who work late evenings and unsociable hours. The service being open on a Saturday is crucial to so many young women, those in school, those working hours that don’t a line with regular clinic hours. I did not have to take time off to attend this appointment which was fantastic. I honestly believe this service should always always Always be running on a Saturday. It makes it accessible so a huge range of people who other wise would struggle with contraception.
Thank you so much to the team , you are all amazing and I really hope the Saturday clinic is here to stay.
