About: The Hathersage Centre

It’s absolutely unprofessional that I’ve had to wake up at 8am to book in for an appointment, got one for 17:50 today. And they did not call me for my consultation or whatsoever.. minutes before their closing time, I’ve tried to ring them, however, the call keeps bouncing. It’s a joke to think that a consultant has forgotten my appointment they were appointed to. Waited all day for this appointment and nothing.

We do acknowledge our online booking system has an extremely high demand, demand that often outweighs our capacity. We have recently implemented a new system called “Patient Health Record” which streamlines the online booking process making it a better experience for patients.

This also includes a new, more refined triage system to better determine patient needs. In turn, this will better prioritise bookings for emergency, complex, urgent and routine appointments.

We do have telephone lines manned at all our Hub clinics, which can be found on our website. Please feel free should you wish to contact any location within The Northern service, we would be happy to assist.

We are very sorry that you did not receive the expected call that you had scheduled, however without the date and time we are unable to investigate this further. Should you wish us to do this please contact our team on 0161 701 1561.
