"Beneficial"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Gosport

(as a service user),

Self referral to inclusion for alchohol addiction initially started a group but this wasn't helpful eventually had a community detox. The nurse Tracey was amazing + supportive. My one concern is the lack of follow up by my keyworker.

Attended 8wk group "Aftercare", this has been beneficial by being with people in same situation. Given me strength to continue + pursue ongoing support.

Thank you for your recent post and feedback.

I am really pleased that you reached out for support for your alcohol addiction. I’m sorry that you did not find the group helpful in your recovery but experienced a positive outcome from the community detox and that you found Tracey supportive during the process. It is disappointing to hear that you did not receive the follow up from your keyworker as you would have liked. We really value your feedback and I will share this with the Gosport Team so that we can review how we support service users following a detox and look at ways to improve our service.

I’m glad however that you found the Aftercare group beneficial in your recovery and that you were able to share your experiences with others giving you the strength to continue and access further support. It sounds like you have made real progress in your recovery. It is not an easy journey.

I wish you all the very best for the future. Keep safe and well.
