(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter needed to be admitted for treatment following an accident. The care she received from both A&E and ward 3B was exceptional. She was made comfortable by all members of staff, in particular she was very fond of Vicky, her named nurse from A&E, and Emma from ward 3B, though I have to say the approach of everyone was a credit to the service. Even the chap who asked what she wanted for dinner gave a warm smile and big thumbs up on hearing she was being allowed home so wouldn’t need dinner after all, it all makes a difference. Thank you to everyone who was involved in her care

We were so sorry to hear your daughter had an accident, that must have been such a worry for your daughter, you and your family. It's particularly heart-warming that you've taken the time to contact us with so much going on.

What a lovely comment about Vicky, our ED nurse, and Emma from Ward 3B as well as our Catering Crew member. Our Chief Nurse, Mandy along with our Director, Jamie have made contact with those team members and passed on their own sincere thanks along with ensuring they see your own lovely feedback.

Providing patient centred care is absolutely at the heart of what we're trying to achieve here at the Children's Hospital and we really appreciate you letting us know we got this right for you and your daughter.

We're all hoping very much that your daughter has made a good recovery from her accident and is doing well back at home.
